Hi all,
I just read some posts about people who unfortunately, should I say, either lost their phones or had 2 cars drive on them (I'm wondering how that possibly happened, but never mind), threw it in the beach!!! or had less or more dramatic mishaps to their phones. I could not help but wonder if anyone in this forum has heard about the fantastic invention or should I say company that just brought an excellent service to Nigeria amongst other countries. It's called SavemyContacts. You've got a backup of all your contacts, your messages and even pictures. So no matter what happens to your phone, the most vital part, which I would presume are your contacts and certain precious messages are intact. I subscribe to it in the UK as well together with thousands of people. You never know, your phone might just get nicked someday, better safe than sorry is what they say. There most certainly are messages and contacts I'd never wonna loose.
Anyways, anyone ever heard of it and what do you know about it? I'm beginning to sound like a sales rep, am I not? Apologies tendered. Just thought to share the info. Incase anyone’s interested check it out on www.savemycontacts.com

My sentiments exactly. But just kidding ![]()
Yes, I am aware of the service you mentioned. Its still in its infancy here. Supported on only one network for now; others to follow, we are told.
SaveMyContacts, amongst other value-added service providers, will be showcasing their services at e-NNOVATE 2005 coming up on Monday 21st & Tuesday 22nd
