I am sure me and trae_z are in synch. My prediction stands at 4-0 to Nigeria,Provided "Old Man" Kanu is not played till after the four goals.

Re: Nigeria-Gabon football match this weekend

Well, what d'you know? Amazing match!!! For those who didn't think our boy Kanu (Papilo) still had it in him to deliver, I'm sure you were all pleasantly surprised. Infact, had he not played at all, we would most probably be mourning the pass over of the qualifying match by now. Imagine.. 2 goals in as many minutes, the first orchestrated by him and the second nailed in by no less. I think Kanu was deservedly (if there's any such word) crowned man of the match, I also give credit to Yaks (Yakubu), Utaka, Okocha for sure and of course Julius A. On the whole, congratulations to all patriotric and football loving Nigerian. Better games to come!!!!

Re: Nigeria-Gabon football match this weekend

Well, I almost got my information right except for Udeze.  And it's funny that the forsaken goat saved the day: Kanu. But you know, things like that happen,  because really he didn't deserve to be invited for that match.  Anyway goodluck he saved the day for us.

Another forsaken goat: lawal sure did finally shine.  He gave kanu a superb long range pass and then kanu did the same for AGHAHOWA  who excellenty nodded in.  I guess there is something about the number 17. trae-howa for life peeps...april-17th!!!  Also strange sub removing utaka for aiyegbeni and martins for Kanu.  People were expecting Osaze for Lawal and Martins for Aiyegbeni.  Thank God we delivered.  If not, Chukwu would have been roasted alive.

Jay jay going to play defensive midfield ... wonders will never end!  But he tried anyway.  Nice aghahowa to Aiyegbeni to Kanu pass for the 2nd goal.  Reminds me of the saha-smith-rooney pass in Man. Utd's win over Arsenal last year.  I think the Gabonese players were good.  Definately an organised and defensively tight team.  Their lack of attacking prowess was their waterloo.  If they had attacked a bit more they might have pulled a draw or even a win.

So the final score: Nigeria 2, Gabon nil. And AGHAHOWA is still a wonder.  The new jersey is brillaint.  The best ever by Adidas.  The players name's were even written on it ... we're beginning to do the england thing. Cool.  I'd better go get my own customized jersey.  I'll probably have "traehowa" at the back with number 17 ... if i fit see where i go get am sha

And, just to add, my own man of the match was Chidi Odia at right full back.  By far our best right full back since Yobo left the position for central defence.  He got attacking instincts and is very comfortable joggling and dribbling with the ball.  Unlike Abbey and Sodje.

Re: Nigeria-Gabon football match this weekend

Well,

From the look oh things on my crystal ball its more like we would win by about 2 goals to nil.

Well, this is supposed to be a "pre-diction" right? I guess mine is a "post-diction".
