I read the full report in The Guardian. Very interesting reading.
Taking the whole thing into view points to Glo as the network to beat, and Mtel as the network to avoid (mamba!) ![]()
Don't mind me about the mamba thing! Just having fun pulling his legs.

Actually, Vmobile appears to have the worst results overall, not MTEL. In the summary Vmobile has 'worst result' 6 times and MTel only 3. I'd say it seems to be GLo, MTN, M-TEL, Vmobile based on this report.
The report covers the following cities and towns: Lagos, kano, Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Benin City, Maiduguri, Aba, yola, Warri, Enugu, Owerri, Yola, Ekpoma, Gboko, kaduna, Lokoja, Onitsha.

Oops! Looks like I got things mixed up there. Thanks for setting the records straight ![]()

That is a good report. At last with that report we now know why there is call interference on the Vmobile network. They should try and inprove on their network.

I read the report in the dailies, and I believe NCC has done a great job. NCC keep it up

I find it hard to believe that Glo is the best, Hope the report was conducted without Bias, don't trust these people.

How do you mean?

well, I read yhe full report and it seems to be very accurate.
GLO has the most sophisticated network from experience while Vmobile is plagued with network conjestion.
I still believe in Mtel
AYA!
I've monitored their gprs and it's visible almost everywhere they have network.
I'm sure they'll do better than glo in this area...

@mamba: Don't waorry. Me? I'm only pulling your legs. I actually intend to get an Mtel line - if only for review and test purposes. And if they do better than Glo, I vote with my money ![]()

I still believe glo is the best network and they will improve more and more.

@AYA. What I mean is that, I find it difficult to get friends and contacts on the glo network. Many of them had switched to either the MTN or Vmobile network 'cos people tell them that they find it difficult to reach them( Trae_z for instance cannot be reached at Nsukka, what about my friend serving at Akwa Ibom). So I hope you understand what I mean now when the report says they have the best Call set-up success rate, Call Success Rate and bla bla bla. Notice that it also says that they are worst in the Successful Recharges category, how can they be the best if people on their network can't even recharge succesfully to make calls.
Not that I doubt the report, I just "find it difficult to believe"

@pat: I see what you mean. But the report is believable. For example, my wife on Vee tries to reach others on Vee and she cannot get through the whole day. Then I use my Glo line and I get thru to those same lines on 1st dial. No-one has complained about not being able to reach me on my Glo line. My entire family - Dad, mom, and siblings are not on Glo, yet they reach me on 1st dial from their respective networks.
Recharging has been smooth and easy except for once.
Here's the way it goes: I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the report since I did not supervise it or serve as an observer. However, it is very believable, and we need to start believing ![]()
Naija has suffered for too long for lack of statistics and information. Le's put some faith in what they have done.
Like I always say, I owe no network anything. I'd take this stand regardless of who was adjudged best or worst.

I use all 4 networks and can give an accurate review of all the networks..
The NCC report is very very correct.
glo has the most sophisticated network and call quality on glo is still the best.

hey hey hey, i never said i cannot be reached at nsukka http://www.mobilenigeria.com/viewtopic.php?id=116#p572 . getting me (from outside nsukka) on my Glo at nsukka ain't hard at all. what is hard is me getting other people from my glo in or outside nsukka when im in nsukka. but that was about 2-3 weeks ago. things might have improved now, i don't really know.

Ok Mr. Glo Ambassador, I stand corrected. But my point remains valid, just misquoted what you said.

Glo is the best for now and M-tel will take over from V-mobile if care is not taken.

Hey look there is no need saying much, I still says according to N.C.C. report that glomobile is the best network, even the technical equipment instailers which is siemens comfirm it.
