Hi all,
My phone Sagem my-v55 already configured for Vodafone does not have option for saving Glo Setting
when I request for the setting by text. This means I have to set-up this manually.
Is anyone aware of the setting? Kindly send to me at adecrown@hotmail.com
Thanks
Adecrown
@Adecrown: You can access the Glo settings here: http://gosmartmobile.com/glodatasettings.shtml

Always giving error 'Network not responding' but when i use same phone with MTN dial up WAP, it goes thru, but too expensive to manage. The problem is probably coming from my settings, if i cant correct it, will wait until i get a phone that can recieve automatic settings.

Thanks again.
I tried the settings available at the gosmartmobile web site but the handset tried to connect to
gloworld but return but said the dial-up number i used is wrong.
Can anyone help me with the dial-up number for Glo Internet.
Thanks
Adecrown
Glo is not dialup. You seemed to have setup CSD. Create a GPRS WAP account instead and use the relevant settings from the site.

@Adecrown: Again, it could be that you did create the Glo account correctly but did not make it our active/default connection
Make sure you set the Glo account as your active/default account.

AYA & Angelgirl,
Thanks for your support and please dont call me a doubting Thomas.
I eventually took the trip to the Gloworld Office at Wuse 2 Abuja and one wonderful lady cashier
succeeded in sorting out the setting.
Maybe Angelgirl should do same if Gloworld is not far from you.
Happy surfing in advance
Thanks again AYA

I think in a couple of months, MyX-8 will be N30,000 or less. Then I will get it (but getting a Smartphone is more enticing to me)
Sorry to be off-topic.
@Angelgirl: I cannot believe U have not started browsing with that Ur phone!!! ![]()

Its not so Cool, i have been able to use It with MTN only it was more expensive, the problem i have now is am too busy to go to GLO office for proper configuration of my set!

Angelgirl,
You wont need much time to get the configuration issue sorted out at the Gloworld
office. Just like you i kept postponing my visit to Gloworld office till 30th March but
I am happy I created the time because I am now able to surf when travelling from Warri
to Abuja.
As for the MyX8, dont mind us we like to exploit new products or how do you explain
why people are selling MyX7 for about N20,000 and MyX8 for N50000+.
In 3 months time with less than N30,000 you will get MyX8 but then there will be MyX9 or is
it MyX10 which will make MyX8 look like a toy.
Have a nice evening

The "in-thing" on 2005 is phones that play music.
@angelgirl I think your problem is just having your subscription activated! Call Glo Customer Service -121.
@Admin I think we had harmonised all these "Iwant internet, I want internet" posts into one? Where is that post?

@Cool, was at Glo world yesterday, my settings were certified correct, but i was ask to write down my phone number, phone make and model, so they can provision my line, was asked to test between Friday and Monday.
